When I started this website 7 years ago it was to share information about
pickleball here in the Lakes Region. At that time, I had played at every site
that I listed. Then two things happened, the growth of pickleball and the
start of COVID. With the growth of pickleball, not only were there more
places to play, but increased participation meant in wasn't always possible
to just drop in at the various sites.

Further, in seven years I rarely (only twice, except for several complaints)
heard from any site coordinator with information about their location;
so it became harder and harder to provide up to date information.

So, rather that continue with information, that I readily admit wasn't/isn't
always correcct, I've decide to stop updating this website.

Over the years I've gotten quite a few emails from people either new to the
area, new to pickleball, or perhaps planning on vacationing here. I'd advise
anyone with questions to contact the Parks and Rec (or equivalent) in the local
towns. If they don't run the program, they usually can provide you with the
names of people to contact.
